Who this covers

This policy explains how Gentle & Brave Therapy (Angela Daw, Registered Psychotherapist, CRPO #12623) collects, uses, and protects personal information submitted through this website. It is written to align with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect via the contact form

When you submit the contact form we collect your first name (optional), last name (optional), email address, and the content of your message. We also log your IP address and browser user-agent for basic abuse prevention.

Please do not submit clinical details, health information, or other sensitive personal information through the contact form. Once you become a client, all clinical communication happens through secure, purpose-built channels.

How we store and use it

Contact form submissions are stored in a Canada-region managed database and are readable only by Angela. We use them to reply to your inquiry. We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for marketing.

Third-party services

We use Calendly to book free consultations and Jane App to schedule and manage paid sessions. Both are third parties with their own privacy practices — please review their policies before booking. Site analytics are collected via Google Analytics 4 in an anonymized, aggregate form, only if you consent to non-essential cookies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, or to ask questions about this policy, email hello@gentleandbrave.ca.

Clinical privacy

Clinical records for therapy clients are held and managed separately from this website, in compliance with the standards of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and applicable provincial legislation.
